Good afternoon, Ryan. What is your role at The Goss Agency?
I am an Account Manager and also the agency’s Digital Director, developing digital marketing strategies and staying on top of the ever-changing digital landscape.
What has been your favorite project at The Goss Agency?
That’s a tough one. Perhaps my most fulfilling project has been taking on SEO for the agency. The learning curve has been steep, and I know this is nerdy, but I find it fascinating!
What brought you to Asheville?
I’m originally from Greenville, SC, which isn’t too far away. I had visited Asheville many times growing up, and it always held this “mythical” status in my mind. The music, the energy, the food! Getting offered a job here at The Goss Agency sealed the deal, but, to be honest, I had always planned on moving here eventually!
Where’s your favorite place to eat during lunch hour?
Easy! The Rankin Vault – best burgers and hot dogs in town!
What are 3 words to describe The Goss Agency?
Rare. Impactful. Family.
What has been one of your favorite team trips?
I love anytime the office goes out for lunch. Most recently, we went to Bar Taco for an intern’s going-away party.
What do you love about the advertising industry?
The creativity!! I love the feeling when you see a really great ad – one that sticks with you long after you see it. Who knew there were so many ways to say “hey you, buy this”?
What is the first concert you attended?
Weird Al Yankovich. 10/10 would do it again.
Least favorite food?
Cheese.
What do you like to do on your days off?
Anything music related! I’m a live music fanatic.
